Toilet to Floor seal

If your toilet is wobbly on the floor or there is moisture gathering around the perimeter of the base, it may be necessary to re-seat and re-seal the toilet and to inspect the state of the floor underneath.

Moisture is a significant destructive force in homes. Make sure it is attended to in a timely fashion.

Here is an example of what long term seepage can do to destroy the sub-floor underneath lino when there is no apparent damage to the lino.

Bathtub and Shower Walls

Is your bathtub/shower grout and silicone sealer getting cracked, thin, dis-coloured and moldy?

Tile grout and sealant needs to be replaced to remain an effective barrier to moisture seeping into the wall behind and destroying it.

And remember to always turn on your bathroom extractor fan during, and for as long as possible after, a bath or shower to remove all possible moisture from the room and walls.
